Gemma Smyth, Managing Director, &Smyth said:

“Today is a really exciting day for our team. Our company has grown organically over the last seven years and we got to the stage that our name and identity did not adequately represent the strength of our business, the breadth of our services or the expertise of our team. The ‘&’ represents everything we can add to a project or client. The ‘Smyth’ represents our heritage and our core values of transparency and authenticity.

The year 2020 was a catalyst for change in so many businesses, and we were no exception. While it gave us an opportunity to reflect on our own business priorities and positioning, it also allowed us to enhance and expand our service offering to meet our changing client’s needs. We are ambitious about our future and we will continue to evolve, grow and learn new skills in order to offer the best possible creative communications service.”

Expanded Services

The company’s core service offering included communications strategy, media relations, crisis communications, communications training, copywriting, brand communications and events.

Over the last number of years this has expanded to include social media strategy, digital and influencer marketing and advanced content and graphic creation. In 2020, &Smyth added personal brand building and mentoring, virtual events and audio and video podcasting to its list of services.

Rebrand Process

&Smyth works with an extensive network of Irish businesses who support and enhance the agency’s creative communications campaigns.  In the development of the new &Smyth brand and assets, the team collaborated with brand specialists Slater Design; Not Just a Pawn Productions; Cathal Noonan Photography and Urban Brand Creative Website Design

The company also carried out qualitative research in-house with its clients and professional network to help inform the brand positioning.
